Time to Enjoy Launches Free iPhone App to Transform Mobile Calendar to On-the-Go Event Search

App Offers Unique Approach to Finding Local Events, Syncs with User’s Social Networks for Easy Calendar Sharing

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (April 10, 2012) — Time to Enjoy today announced the launch of its free mobile app, designed to help users find events in a matter of seconds. Available for the iPhone and iPad, the Time to Enjoy App aggregates details on millions of events—like concerts, sporting events, movies, conferences, art exhibits, kid’s activities and more.

Users can utilize the Time to Enjoy app to organize data by time, synching with their calendar for easy integration. Once an event is chosen, users have the option to share details with their friends via email, Facebook, Twitter and other social channels. By focusing on the ‘when,’ Time to Enjoy makes it easy to fill free time with local events and invite friends and family along.

“When you think about planning something to do, it always comes down to choosing a time,” said Jan Anton, CEO and Co-Founder of Time to Enjoy. “This inspired us to create a time-driven app designed to sync with your calendar, so you can sift through events that fit your free time and lifestyle with just a few simple clicks.”

By streaming information from twenty different real-time categories through third-party licensing agreements, Time to Enjoy transforms the mobile phone calendar into an event search engine. Synching directly with the user’s calendar, with one simple click the app displays events based around that free time. Users can adjust their personal preferences and use the app filter to increase or reduce results. Once chosen, events are automatically synced with Google, Outlook and other popular calendar programs and Time to Enjoy app users can click to share plans with friends and family.

“Today’s mobile technology is completely changing the way people search for the information they need,” said Brendan Boyd, Marketing Director and Co-Founder of Time to Enjoy. “Our app is reinventing mobile search, requiring as few as three clicks to find any kind of event. Instead of having to call or text friends to join, app users can click to share with contacts, whether via email or through social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Our app effectively serves up data in an easy-to-read and easy-to-share way.”

Time to Enjoy is partnering with third party data aggregators to provide app users with access to data on local concerts, movies, theater listings and sporting events. Supplementing with harder-to-find, hyper-local events—like yoga classes, local college campus activities and town fundraisers— ensures users are getting as much enhanced data to choose from as possible.

The Time to Enjoy app was developed by co-founders Jan Anton, Brendan Boyd, and their team in 2011. The company has plans to rollout an Android version of the Time to Enjoy app in late 2012. For more information, visit www.timetoenjoy.com or visit http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/time-to-enjoy/id506433804?mt=8 to download the app.
